The global events industry, representing over 26 million professionals has felt the first-hand effects of COVID-19. With shrinking budgets comes downsizing and loss of opportunity. After nine months of no in-person meetings and an uncertain future, the event planning industry faces a formidable challenge. While our industry will emerge, it won’t happen without thoughtful and shared commitments. Events in the future will have a blended hybrid approach of both virtual and in person. This shift has created an urgent need for meeting planners to be educated and prepared to coordinate and execute this new approach in an uncertain and fluid environment. JUNO will be donating 5% of all JUNO platform fees to the immediate reskilling of 1000’s of business event professionals as the industry emerges towards recovery and beyond.
