JUNO Growth Brings Steve Abramson to CFO Role

Finance professional with tech, startup experience drawn to growing firm

April 28, 2021 -- Dallas -- JUNO, the service leader of virtual and hybrid platforms, is considered must-have tech for connecting, engaging and growing event communities. The firm is on a fast growth trajectory and is proud to announce Steve Abramson has joined JUNO as its Chief Financial Officer. He is a financial professional with over 15 years of experience in large, global private equity-backed companies, as well as start-ups and fast-growing tech companies.

As JUNO CFO, Steve will leverage his experience leading high-performance teams to oversee and scale JUNO’s accelerating business as it wins contracts with market segment leaders within non-profit and corporate sectors. His recent role as Vice President of Commercial Finance at Indigo Ag, a technology start-up, supported acceleration of the company’s growth and expansion into new business segments and markets, along with multiple financing rounds.

“JUNO is staying true to its mission while expanding the number of client partners we serve,” said Josh Hotsenpiller, CEO of JUNO. “Steve’s close collaboration with sales and operations teams will allow us to continue accelerating our market share and to continue winning investment dollars to scale smartly. JUNO’s vision is boundless and boundaryless, as we remove friction in order to be the single experience platform for events, education, commerce and connections.”

“I believe in the people and the culture we are building here at JUNO,” Abramson said. “We are moving to a future state where virtual events will become more of the norm, and I think it’s super exciting to have the opportunity to help shape what those experiences will look like.”

Prior to joining the start-up Indigo Ag, Steve served as the Corporate Controller at GFI Software, a global provider of collaboration, managed service provider and IT infrastructure solutions. Steve played a lead role through an IPO process and ultimate carve out and sale of the three respective business units, sharing time between the US and Europe.

Steve started his career as a Certified Public Accountant at BDO USA, LLP, leading global billion-dollar revenue audit engagements as well as serving smaller, private equity-backed companies. He received his MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and his BS in Finance & Accounting from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
