Event Industry Expert to Share Key Insights Into Building Digital Communities

Dana Freker Doody, VP, Marketing Communications, to Speak at IMEX, Frankfurt

May 31, 2022 -- JUNO, a software company that connects and educates people on a comprehensive platform for digital engagement offers key session on digital communities and the move from hybrid events to year-round connection.

JUNO VP of Marketing Communications Dana Freker Doody, will speak at the upcoming IMEX Annual Convention in Frankfurt, Germany on June 1 at 11:30am local time.

In the session, “Embracing Brands Into Hybrid Events and Digital Communities,” Freker Doody will discuss how to engage sponsors and exhibitors in the move from hybrid events into a year-round, active digital community. An expert in strategic brand building, Freker Doody understands the importance of connection to a brand’s audience and will share best practices for organizations committed to building the connections their audiences crave.

“Community and event organizers must build the bridges that connect people to each other, to new solutions, and to content that advances knowledge,” Freker Doody says. “Organizations that are the source of connection change lives with the commerce they help create, and they are easily able to prove their own value and relevance. The pandemic accelerated the pace of change, and those that don’t embrace these opportunities and learn technology’s role in bringing people together will have missed this important opportunity.”

Freker Doody is a respected event industry veteran with an extensive background in marketing and communications who speaks frequently on those topics. Freker Doody began producing hybrid events in 2010 and teaches others about how to expand audiences and revenues using that model. She led the PCMA Gulf States chapter as President in 2016 and helped launch several niche communities as well as a long-running trade show podcast. She chose to answer the challenge of the times by joining a start-up in 2021 to build the JUNO brand on its mission to connect and educate people as one platform for digital engagement.
